Alan Lohr
Yavapai College lead gunsmithing instructor with 30 yrs. machine shop experience. He is known for precision and attention to detail.

Has been the stock making instructor at Yavapai College for 15 yrs. He also owns a business stocking high-end rifles and shotguns.

Rachel Wells
Renowned engraver who has 32 yrs. experience, 25 yrs. teaching at Yavapai College. She was the first woman to achieve professional status in the FEGA.

Dan Pedersen
For years Dan Pedersen was the in-house barrel maker for the late Fred Wells of Wells Sports Store. Dan is a quiet, serious instructor who is proud of his work. He has been teaching his craft for 7 years.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE

       The Advisory committee consists of professionals in the industry who know the needs of future employees. The purpose of the Gunsmithing Advisory Committee is to give guidance and support to the Gunsmithing program at Yavapai College. The members of the committee give freely of their time and knowledge to insure that we have the finest and most effective program that we can have.
